Built From the Ground Up
Daniel didn’t start Dakus Construction from behind a desk. He worked his way up through the trade — from the smallest repair to complete new-build houses — learning every part of the job by doing it. Much of that time was spent on luxury residential projects, where the standard of finish is unforgiving and the details are everything.
That’s where the idea for Dakus came from. Daniel wanted to control every part of a build himself — the planning, the trades, the sequencing, the finish — so that every detail could be signed off to a standard he could stand behind with total confidence and pride.
Today he still visits every project personally. When you call Dakus, you’re dealing with the person whose name is on the van, not a sales team.

Who we are
A London Construction Company That Does the Whole Job
Dakus Construction is a residential building company covering London, Essex and Kent. We combine solid, traditional craftsmanship with modern methods and materials to deliver work that looks right on day one and still looks right ten years later.
Most builders hand parts of the job to whoever is available that week. We don’t. Plumbing, electrics, plastering, tiling, carpentry, decorating and structural work are all handled by our own team — so there is one plan, one programme, and one person accountable for the result.
Whether it’s a single bathroom in Walthamstow or a whole-house renovation in Dartford, the approach is the same: survey properly, quote in writing, build to programme, snag it ourselves.

Every stage is checked by Daniel personally before we move to the next. Nothing gets covered up that hasn’t been signed off.

Straight tiles, tight mitres, clean silicone lines and level worktops. The small things are what you live with every day.
